Book Blogger Hop
ABOUT THE HOP:
In the spirit of the Twitter Friday Follow, the Book Blogger Hop is a place just for book bloggers and readers to connect and share our love of the written word!  This weekly BOOK PARTY is an awesome opportunity for book bloggers to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books!  It will also give blog readers a chance to find other book blogs to read!  To join in go to Crazy for Books for all the details.

"What do you consider the most important in a story: the plot or the characters?"

I think both the plot and the characters are extremely important in a great novel. Being a romance lover I would say that the characters are the most important. You have to love the characters and be able to experience all their emotions.

Once again its time for follow Friday to join in and get all the details go to Parajunkee's View.

Carmel is studying web design... What did you study in college, or are currently studying and did it lead to your current 9 to 5 or are you doing something totally different?

I am currently going to college for Business Administration. I don't have a 9 to 5 but I would love to own my own business. Maybe a gallery because I paint too.

Happy Follow Friday!!

Hi How are you this Friday? I been battling for the right answer to this question but for me I think its both. Though I love characters that have that sarcastic sense of humor for some reason they really just make it for me.

Happy Holidays :)

Hi, I am stopping by from FF and the Hop. I also think both are important but if I don't like the characters I can't read the book.

Happy Friday Danielle! I agree with you on characters, they're super important in romances since the plot isn't usually overly unique. If I can't relate to the characters, the whole romance falls flat. Hope you have a great weekend!

So true, when it comes to romance I do want good characters too, cos how else do i want them to get a HEA

I think both are extremely important too, but for me plot comes first by just a smidge. If the storyline doesn't grab me the characters won't either.

Here's my Hop

Have a GREAT weekend!

Hi, hon - thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you'll share some of your painting with us someday - my artistic talent has always been limited to stick figures. :)

I totally agree that character is the most important. If the characters are bad then I don't really care about the plot.

Happy Hop!

Hi hun, just hoppin on over!
The characters are so important for me, if I can't fall into them then I have a hard time getting into the book, no matter how great the plot is. Hope your weekend is going well, thanks for stopping by and happy reading!

Doing a late hop back from the Friday hops. I was out of town this weekend and busier than I expected to be - hence the lack of Internet time. Hope you had a great weekend!
I wish I knew something about web design. Very cool.
